This XJS is a 3.6 manual, which are becoming more and more sought after of late, and certainly a worthy project. It presents a different proposition to the 4.0 auto project that we also have for sale. The MOT on this car expired in 2008 and the car will have been sat up since then, however it does run and drive without any issues that we have noticed in our limited time with it, which isn’t suitable to say it is ready for the road. It isn’t. This car will most likely need welding before it is able to pass an MOT but we would be happy to provide photos and an assessment of how much work it would need. There isn’t a huge amount of paperwork with this car but it does come with its original book pack and service book. From experience the manual gearbox can make the XJS feel like a completely different car and much faster too. The bodywork, paintwork and interior of this car are actually in fairly good condition, and with an MOT this would prove to be a very useable car for someone, and a perfect winter project too.
