2008 Land Rover Defender 90

SOLD

This fantastically yellow Land Rover Defender 90 is ready for any terrain and any conditions, and received a service in November 2020 and with an MOT that lasts until 18th November 2021. This low mileage example originally belonged to the MOD and has service paperwork to help confirm the low mileage of just 21,500 before the vehicle was officially road registered and MOT’d in 2016.

Originally finished in white, this Defender was refinished in this particularly vibrant hue of yellow, which I think suits it perfectly. This is a car that can brighten up even the dreariest of days and the yellow of the bonnet through the windscreen as you’re driving along is probably enough to make even Scrooge smile.

Built in 2008, this Land Rover represents one of the more modern cars amongst the classic Defender range, even offering mod-cons such as a radio and working heating (which, if you’ve driven an older Defender, you’ll understand isn’t guaranteed!). The car drives well, accelerates well, stops well and the six speed gear change is about as easy as you could hope for from one of these off-roaders. The car features fold away seats in the rear, making it more practical and useable for those among us who would like a mixed use 4×4, and the seats are even easy to operate, folding out of the way in seconds.

The history file contains some old MOTs and invoices along with that service document from the car’s time in the MOD, but as I’m sure anyone can expect, a low mileage car like this hasn’t needed a great deal of work that would fill up a history file.
