We are selling this 1980 Mercedes 350SE as a running and driving cosmetic project, now with an MOT that lasts until May 2021. The car runs and drives well, and would now benefit from further use by a new owner as they improve it. The odometer currently reads as 132,870 miles.
The bodywork is generally presentable, with a couple of small areas near the front and rear lights, and a patch on the nearside front wing that has been poorly touched up, and an odd small block attached to the centre of the driver’s door. The interior is reasonably tidy, with only a small split in the driver’s seat. The cloth seats are relatively unworn and provide a comfortable place to spend time.
The history file for the vehicle is sadly not as plentiful as it could be, although the original service book is present showing the servicing up until roughly 92,000 miles in 1990. There are a couple of old MOTs and an hand written list with costs detailing an expenditure of £1673.94 in April 2017 for the that MOT, with work carried out including some welding, brake discs, pads and fluid, brake and fuel pipes, a service and a new set of tyres.
